The digitization of real objects to virtual 3D models is a challenge for the whole community of developers of solutions based on Virtual and Augmented Reality. The 3D Scaners are very expensive and limiting their applitaions. This paper presents a case study of Autodesk® Photofly, this technique that has been researched by the scientific community, in order to compare results and assess their viability.
